For teenagers, being pregnant can be a life changing decision. People don't realize how much a pregnancy can effect someones life, or even a whole family. When someone gets pregnant, at a young age especially, so many people get involved. The people that are having the baby are usually frowned upon by their peers, and sometimes even their families.
Teens can go through significant hardships such as poverty and depression. Many teens may also drop out, or graduate early from high school. If someone gets pregnant as a teen, there is a higher chance that they will end up going back to school when they are older instead of right out of high school.
I think it is wrong for people to judge pregnant teens because most of us have no idea what went on-she could have been raped??? I must say though that I am against teen pregnancy but also believe we should accept and encourage those teens because it is not easy for them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's right for other people to go around and judge people because of their pregnancy. Teen pregnancy is not a good thing in your life, but i don't judge others. It will also rise the self esteem of young adults if we accept the way they are and give them good encouragement. I also think it's insane how many teens get pregnant at such a young age.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's true that a lot of people do get involved. I don't think it's right for people to judge just because someone got pregnant. I agree with Kelly because she said a girl could have been raped.
ReplyDeleteWhen teenagers get pregnant, I think that getting out of school is the easiest way out. Some people try to go through with school after their pregnancy, while most just go on with life without their high school diploma or college degree.
ReplyDeleteTeen pregnancies might not even be their fault. most likely not but i think that its awful that people judge them. I also believe it is a good choice that they go back to school. It shows that they are taking responsibilities.
ReplyDeleteI think girls shouldn't be judged because they got pregnant. Sometimes it is their fault but then sometimes it isn't. But whether they were raped or it was their decision, they get judged and that is not right.
ReplyDeleteMany teens who become pregnant are at fault. If you don't want a baby don't have sex, right? Though of course, there is always those few girls who face an abusive relationship and maybe wasn't given with the choice of sex. Also, those many girls who are raped. Peer pressure is always a big issue in teen pregnancy. I feel many girls think having sex with a guy will get them to be accepted by him and his friends. Either way, a teen should not be judged.
